It's hard to find a city as cultural, engaged, and diverse as Evanston.  Our home is one block from Lake Michigan with lovely parks, running paths, opportunities for winter sports like cross-country skiing.  If and when the university reopens, there will be dance, music, and art to make your heart sing.

And it's hard to find a cat as loving and funny as Augie, our Maine Coon.  He will fall into your lap within minutes!

Our renovated "farmhouse" features a large living room with a wood-burning fireplace, separate dining room, den, large kitchen with eating area, three bedrooms, 2.5 baths, an office & more.  Oh, did I mention the steam shower?

And for outdoor time in the backyard, we have both a fire pit and a large, standing heater.  

IN THIS TIME OF COVID

While it's hard to know what next winter will bring, we expect proof of either vaccination or a negative Covid test 5 days before your arrival. The house will be thoroughly sanitized before you arrive.  My husband and I will both have a Covid test before departing.

We have in-home laundry, WiFi throughout the house, printer and scanner, if needed.  A housecleaner with clean twice during your stay.  A neighbor will be on call, if and when there is a heavy snow.  

We will also ask that you arrive sometime the day before we leave.  If you have a friend to stay with, that would be great.  If not, we can make arrangements for one night in a nearby hotel.
