Hello we are searching for a mature, responsible, hands on, caring, loving pet/house sitter for two very active, fun loving Border Collies, three sheep, six chickens and multiple outside cats. We do have a routine in place which is walking and feeding the animals in the morning and evenings. Letting the chickens out in the morning and putting them away before dark. Walking and providing activity for the dogs, they LOVE hanging out with you and doing any jobs with you, they also like alone time and take a mid morning and mid afternoon nap. They are never left alone for more than five hours at a time. Minimal cleaning of the sheep barn and chicken coop is required. Security check of property daily. We do live in a remote rural area although we are only 10 mins from the nearest town. We are fully fenced and gated with security camera's. It is a great place to relax, unwind, and recharge with some loving animals to keep you company. This is an Ideal situation for anyone that can work remotely and does not mind being out in a farm like setting out in the country and does not mind getting a little mucky. For me personally it is not anything like work, it is enjoyable, fun and wholesome country living. The house where you will stay is a guest house. We have a great support team of friends close by if needed for anything. |
