The house sit is from +/- 10th December 23 to the 15th January 2024, as a minimum. For anyone who is looking for a longer house sit, it can be be extended until the end of February, or an agreed date between 15th January and 28th February.
Single person or a couple. If you have immdediate family, that wish to join you, thats ok.
Keep the house neat & tidy and feed the dogs twice a day, and keep the dogs water bowl fresh
Need to be able to drive and have a valid International or EU/UK licence, as the house is 10km from the closest supermarket/pharmacy/bank.
The dogs have no special needs or on any medication.
It is a 4 bedroom house and has 3 on suite bathrooms, situated at the end of the village in St Paul La Roche (North Dordogne). It has a reasonable size garden i.e. plenty of space for the dogs to run about. 50 minutes from Limoges Airport (Ryanair) and 1 hour 25 minutes from Bergerac Airport (Ryanair). Thiviers railway station is a 15 minute drive, and Limoges station is a 50 minute drive. It has oil central heating and a wood burner installed. There are quite a few English-speaking people living in the village, that can provide help/support if required. There will be use of a 108 Peugeot car.
It has a large veranda which has a lovely view of the fields.
There will be sufficient oak wood cut to size to make a fire every evening.
Both the dogs (Jack a Galgo & Scott a Border x terrier) are rescue dogs from Spain. They are easy going and sociable. They have no special needs. |
