A cozy, bright 2 bedroom terraced cottage where the river Liffey flows into Dublin Bay. A 25 minute walk to the city centre, the area is quiet and serene and contains every possible amenity: parks, beaches, playground, sporting pitches, marina all within a 25 minute walk of the city centre. Very good public transport links are right in the neighbourhood and it is a 25 minute cab ride from Dublin airport. But there are also very good bus links to the airport.
The house is equipped with cable tv, wireless broadband, washer, gas fired central heat.
There are 3 dogs resident who are the primary reason for a house sitter. One is an 11 yro old lurcher (greyhound/wolfehound mix) who is quite bossy. The 2 little guys are 5 yro brothers who are some sort of jack russel mix. They are loving and very affectionate. They all require regular bathroom walks. Nothing excessive but they do take a bit of coordination to wrangle.
The lurcher can be a handful if you let her but she is easily managed. (see previous reference to being bossy.) She cannot be left off the lead ever. If she escapes you will be running around the neighbourhood for upwards of an hour to catch her. She will eat your dinner right off your plate if you leave it where she can reach it. The little guys too are food motivated and will also eat off your plate if you leave it within reach. But all 3 are lovable, dearly loved members of the family and quite happy to be couch potatoes. Also, if you let them, they will happily sleep with you all night. But if you lock them out of the bedroom they will happily make themselves comfortable on the couch. The lurcher doesn't actively seek affection but the little guys do and want someone to adore who will talk to them.
