My three story log home sits on over an acre of tall Douglas fir trees and has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a full kitchen. I have a 12 year young male orange striped cat and a 9 year old male pug, both are neutered. Both are also very affectionate and like to snuggle up with you on the couch next to the wood stove or in the TV room, and sleep with someone at night. My cat is indoor/outdoor. Pug can't climb the stairs to the second floor, so likes to sleep in the downstairs king bed. They are both very good with children of all ages, including toddlers. My pug gets fed twice a day, the cat once a day, and both go in and out several times during the day. There is a line in the back yard for the dog. The pug can be crated for up to 3-4 hours if necessary. I would ask that you take my mail in and water my 6 plants on the first floor.
My house is great for kids, I have a toy nook for my grandchildren already all set up with lots of Legos and little cars to play with.
I have a guest house at the rear of the property that is rented out, unfortunately my tenant has a bad back and can't care for my pets.
The cat box is in the downstairs bathroom, although it is not used consistently by the cat. My home is very cozy, and inside a gated community (you will receive a garage clicker to open the gate), and there are many walking trails nearby. Our 66 home private community includes a 200 acre tree farm, lake and rare heritage peat bog. 200 additional acres of undeveloped second growth state land is a five minute walk away. There is also an 800 acre Conservancy for walking and mountain biking a five minute drive from my house.
I know all my neighbors, it's a very quiet and safe neighborhood. A car is required, however, as the nearest public transportation is in downtown Woodinville (a few miles away). Woodinville is a lovely town with a great grocery store, movie theater, nice casual restaurants, and a Target for your every need. Woodinville is also a world famous wine town, with many tasting rooms within a short car ride.
Nearby outdoor and indoor recreation options include world class skiing at Stevens Pass or Snoqualmie Pass, hiking and sightseeing the many National Parks, Snohomish antiquing, Puget Sound, and of course, downtown Seattle within a 45 minute car ride. Mt. St. Helens is a four hour car ride, and Vancouver, BC (Canada) is about 3.5 hours away. |
