About Shar & Charlie Melanson:

Married couple for 30 plus years... in our mid 50's, I am a photographer and my husband Charlie is a Platoon Chief in the Moncton City Fire Dept for 30+  years.   Lifetime animal lovers, rescuers.  Quiet, non-smoking very mature couple who enjoy travelling, but are really just starting this adventure as our son is in College now and our beloved dogs have all recently passed in the last 5 years.  We currently have 4 rescue cats and a senior beloved Chihuahua.  Getting ready to retire and enjoy the world.  Very clean, handy in the home (we also operated a multiple cottage business and are very capable with home care and maintenance) and extremely respectful of others property and ADORE animals and nature. 

We also both volunteer at our community homeless shelter/dining hall The Humanity Project where we help house and feed our local homeless population in our City.  We also volunteer with Carma, a trap/neuter/return program in our area for feral cats.
