About Gerard (gerry) Belliveau: |
My wife, Louise and I have been married for 43 years. I retired from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) at the rank of Inspector 9 years ago. My wife is a retired Registerd Nurse. We raised 6 children (4 sons/2 daughters). We live next to the ocean on the east coast of Canada. Since our retirement, we have travelled to Florida, the Caribbeans, Australia, Fiji, New Caledonia, Hawaii, Arizona, Mexico and Canada. We are looking for opportunities to travel and house sit at the same time. I served for 36 years in the RCMP ranging from front line policing, intelligence gathering, drug investigations and homicide investigations. I was responsible for policing and managing well over 200 police officers in the southeastern part of the province of New Brunswick, Canada at the time of my retirement. We presently enjoy spending time with our 11 grandchildren. Louise and I are fluently bilingual (English/French). We have owned dogs in the past. We are very responsible, non smokers/non drinkers. We have rented homes many times via VRBO and have received positive feedback for our cleanliness and respect of property. This upcoming year (2023), we are open to house sitting in North and South America as well as Europe. I presently work from my home 6-10 weeks a year as a consultant. My clients are mainly lawyer firms and different New Brunswick police forces. I review criminal investigations presently before the courts (for lawyers) and I review historical unsolved homicides for the different police agencies. I continue to maintain my "enhanced and secret" classification for law enforcement. I am not on Facebook, however, I can be found on LinkedIn. Also, if you google my name, you will find many articles concerning my career and my years in coaching hockey including The Detectives Season 3 “Mother and Son” CBC TV (homicide investigation). I am 2nd oldest of 10 children. My father is a retired RCMP officer. I have 2 sons in the police force as well as 2 nephews.
