Hello! I am a 65 year old single woman, who has worked in the hospitality industry for the last 45 years, primarily as an events director for private clubs, hotels and most recently, The Old Globe in San Diego where I spent the last 15 years. I left my career in 2019 to care full-time for my widowed mother, who at 87 was experiencing increased dementia and other illnesses. It was a wonderful experience and one that I will consider the largest blessing of my life. Sadly, she passed away in September. Growing up as the daughter of a career Naval officer and a mother who raised (often single-handedly) six children, I was infused with a strong work ethic, principles, and respect for other people. With my mother gone, and a desire to see and experience more of what life and the world holds, house sitting is a great way to visit other cities, provide a service to others, and still have the comfort of being in a safe and comfortable situation. Given that I am brand new to this, I am in the process of gathering personal references, but I can tell you that I am hard-working, honest, reliable, and can be trusted to treat your home as I would like my home to be treated. I am available beginning late December 2021.
