About this sitter
I am a "countryboy", having lived in a city
so I know the best of both worlds, having a strong tendency towards the
country life the older I get.
Early retired, aged 58, non-smoking, still working remote (freelance) as a lecturer a few weeks per year.
I always love(d) travelling and do so extensively, speak German (native), English, French and Spanish.
Have and can use my own car. I'm good at IT and housekeeping (living by
myself in my own timber house), had my own cat and do well with any
pets.
I'm looking for an opportunity to get to know a neighborhood and culture
for a longer period, maybe even looking for a new home in the long run.
House sitting experience
Did home- and catsit in the south of France in March 2022, Italy in September 2022 and in the French Alps in spring 2023 and right now (July 2023). Assigned in England for September 2023. (Organized through another platform)
Managing and keeping my own house (incl. kids and cat).
