I've had animals my whole life! I love all kinds, from horses to snakes; they all fascinate me! I have cared for many family and friends' fur babies through the years and would love to take care of yours! I have experience with large breed dogs - Shepards, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Bernese Mountain Dogs, and tiny breeds - Pomeranians and Chihuahuas. I've been asked if I'm more of a cat or dog person, but I'm unable to answer that question as I love all animals.
My current situation includes helping my parents with the aging process and a brother who needs some assistance. I love helping them and feel blessed to be able to, but it does leave me with extra time. My mom is allergic to animals, so I'm unable to have my own, so this leaves me with an abundance of love to pour out on your fur baby.
My daily rate is $75/day which includes 1–2 pets and an overnight stay. I was raised to be reliable, responsible and leave a place better than I found it.
I understand our four-legged loved ones can have special requirements. From diets, treat schedules, exercise, medication, weather phobias, or just their own special toy. I prefer to care for pets in their home because when their human needs to be gone, staying in their familiar environment is less stressful for them.
I've lived in London, Hawaii, and Japan and have traveled extensively. I am a foodie and love to cook. I've owned and operated a B&B, run an organic farm with 200 laying hens, been in corporate America, cared for elderly and Alzheimer patients, and taught ESL. I'm a non-smoker.
