I live two hours south of Calexico, CA, in San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico. I need someone to care for my two sweet cats while I am gone for Christmas to Phoenix, AZ. So if anyone wants to spend the holidays in sunny Mexico, please contact me. Start and end dates are very flexible. The only duties are to feed the cats and give them company. We are in a safe part of Mexico and in a gated community with security guards. We are on the Sea of Cortez and have beautiful beaches with mountains in the background. Our development offers pools, private beach access, tennis courts, pickleball courts, movies, a golf course, and more. The town has many restaurants and attractions. Villa Linda Mar is a small off-grid beachfront resort located just north of the town of Loreto, BCS, Mexico. We are looking for someone to live on-site during our off-season and take care of the 3 cats who call our place home. You will be provided one of our 2 bedroom 2 bath casitas to call home. I have a 2 bedroom, 2 story home on the outskirts of Sayulita, set in a tropical garden, a 20 minute walk to town and the beach.
I plan to go to Canada for the dates mentioned, although I have not yet purchased tickets, so the dates could change by a few days.
My area is quiet and a good place for those who like to relax, do art, writing, etc.
I would cover all utilities, including internet. I cannot afford to pay for housesitting, the exchange is a free place to stay in exchange for a few chores and looking after the place.
It will be hot, humid rainy season. I do not have AC, but there are fans in all rooms.
Housesitting duties are:
Feeding the cat (she is not a cuddly pet cat- she was a stray who decided she lives here- she doesn't require any special attention and mostly stays outside)
Keeping the place clean and tidy,

Stay in Ajijic, Jalisco, Mexico, a small town, designated a Pueblo Magico, on the largest lake in Mexico with a bustling ex-pat community. Even so, it remains a very active and family oriented Mexican town with the Arts (murals, painters, and classes) being a strong theme and draw. We are 40 minutes from Guadalajara and the airport. The housesit would involve the care of one cat, Sophie. Our home is walking distance to the town and the lake and there are a multitude of restaurants of all flavors, organic markets, and color everywhere. Flowers, birds, trees, and Artwork!
