A cozy, bright 2 bedroom terraced cottage where the river Liffey flows into Dublin Bay. A 25 minute walk to the city centre, the area is quiet and serene and contains every possible amenity: parks, beaches, playground, sporting pitches, marina all within a 25 minute walk of the city centre. Very good public transport links are right in the neighbourhood and it is a 25 minute cab ride from Dublin airport. But there are also very good bus links to the airport. The house is equipped with cable tv, wireless broadband, washer, gas fired central heat. There are 3 dogs resident who are the primary reason for a house sitter. One is an 11 yro old lurcher (greyhound/wolfehound mix) who is quite bossy. The 2 little guys are 5 yro brothers who are some sort of jack russel mix. They are loving and very affectionate.They all require regular bathroom walks. Hello to all, I am looking to go away between June and October, for a month. There are no set times I am fairly flexible, so we can see what will happen I live out the country in county Tipperary. I am looking for someone to mine my home and for Rough Collies these are show dogs and are very well behaved. They are very obedient and very very easy to look after. Bean show dogs they are all of course lead trained and like being taken for walks, what this is not imperative they are lazy and just like sitting around the place. Our house is situated on the Hill looking over five mountain ranges. We have very good internet also all the TV stations you require if you're a TV buff. We are an active retired couple and travel back and forth to the continent on a regular basis. We would like to give the opportunity to a reliable, non-smoking person/couple to enjoy Ireland countryside while taking care of our 2 dogs and hens when we are away.
The dogs are 2 rescued dogs, terriers type, and love running and be taken for walks daily in the nearby boglands. The hens need very little attention, and reward you with good free-range eggs.
Normal garden maintenance will be appreciate when needed, although very minimal at this time of year.
We live in a comfortable bungalow with a large garden front and rear, on a top of a hill , in a very quiet rural area, between Carrick-on-Shannon and Longford. A car is necessary.
We would like the potential house sitter(s) to arrive the day before our travel, so having time to get to know each other and to show them around.

We live in the tranquil countryside in beautiful Connemara, approx 1 mile from the bus stop, so unless you love walking you need your own transportation. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place for you. We occasionally need someone to house sit and take care of 2 dogs (shorkie & kelpie), 1 cat and 2 hens. The dogs are very friendly once they get to know and trust you. Our cat is very friendly, but she's a cat so it's on her terms. The hens are very easy to take care of and very friendly.
