We are looking for a house sitter in beautiful rural Ireland.We are an active retired couple and travel back and forth to the continent regularly. We would like to give the opportunity to a reliable non-smoking person/couple to enjoy Ireland's countryside while taking care of our house and 2 dogs (and hens) when we are away. We live in a comfortable bungalow with a large garden front and rear, in a very rural quiet area, between Longford and Carrick-on-Shannon. A car will be essential.Normal garden maintenance is necessary, such as mowing lawns and watering plants as needed.The dogs are 2 rescued dogs, terrier types, and love running and be taken daily for a good walk in nearby boglands. A cozy, bright 2 bedroom terraced cottage where the river Liffey flows into Dublin Bay. A 25 minute walk to the city centre, the area is quiet and serene and contains every possible amenity: parks, beaches, playground, sporting pitches, marina all within a 25 minute walk of the city centre. Very good public transport links are right in the neighbourhood and it is a 25 minute cab ride from Dublin airport. But there are also very good bus links to the airport. The house is equipped with cable tv, wireless broadband, washer, gas fired central heat. There are 3 dogs resident who are the primary reason for a house sitter. One is an 11 yro old lurcher (greyhound/wolfehound mix) who is quite bossy. The 2 little guys are 5 yro brothers who are some sort of jack russel mix. They are loving and very affectionate.They all require regular bathroom walks.
