Large, recently renovated house with many amenities in a beautiful setting. 20 minutes to downtown Asheville. Hang out and feed the cat. Perhaps help a little with an attached vacation rental. We live in Asheville, NC (which is on countless top 10 lists) and share our mountain home with our 12 year old Basset Hound, Daisy. Our neighborhood is wooded and inhabited by a wide range of critters including black bears , wild turkeys, owls, fox and squirrels. The Blue Ridge Parkway and Mountains to Sea hiking trail are within 5 minutes of our front door. Vibrant downtown Asheville is an easy 10-15 minute drive. Daisy has always been an energetic pup, with a big personality. However, as much as we hate to admit it, she is aging and slowing down (like us!!). She still loves to go for daily walks but those walks are slow and require patience. Daisy's health is good but she has some mobility challenges and occasionally needs a little assistance. Our house has two levels and is set into a slope. Once upstairs it feels like you are in a tree house. As soon as it gets warm we open all the windows allowing both the house and us to breathe in fresh mountain air. We have never in read more
